Editorial standards

Editorial policy

How Basaltone writes, checks, translates and corrects its voice guides, and how to report a mistake.

Where our information comes from

When a guide makes a claim that matters for your voice or your health, that claim is backed by scientific studies or recognized health organizations, and the source is shown. Our guides help you understand and practice. They never replace medical advice.

Who checks our guides

Every guide shows who reviewed it. “Editorial review” means the Basaltone team checked that the content is clear, accurate and true to its sources. “Clinical review” is reserved for pages reviewed by a qualified health professional whose name is displayed. We never use that label without a real review.

Our translations

Every guide is published in English, French and Spanish at the same time. The three versions say the same thing: when one is corrected, the others are too.

Reporting a mistake

When a correction changes the meaning of a page, we update the date shown on that page. If you spot an error, write to support@basaltone.app with the address of the page: we check, then we fix it.
