Refund policy

1. Scope and Paddle's role

Basaltone subscriptions purchased on the web are sold and billed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. This policy complements Paddle's policy and does not limit any mandatory rights granted by applicable law.

2. Free trial and cancellation

The free trial lasts 7 days. Cancelling before it ends prevents the first charge. After a payment, you may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals while retaining access until the end of the period already paid for.

3. Refund eligibility

Unless required by applicable law, transactions are final. A request may be reviewed in cases such as a duplicate charge, a material technical issue, or where a statutory withdrawal or refund right applies. Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence.

4. Requesting a refund

To submit a request:

  • Open Paddle's buyer support portal
  • Use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle confirmation email.
  • For a technical issue with Basaltone, contact us first at contact@basaltone.app so we can try to resolve it.

5. Processing your request

Paddle verifies eligibility and processes approved refunds to the original payment method where possible. Bank processing times may vary. Paddle's policy in effect at the time of the transaction applies.
